Ávoris & Globick
How Centralized Connectivity Enabled Direct Contracting and Margin Optimization at Scale
The Challenge
Ávoris is a consolidated travel ecosystem with a broad portfolio of specialized brands designed to serve all types of travelers. Its activities span leisure and corporate travel, online and offline distribution, tour operations, transportation, aviation, and technology services, making it one of the most diversified travel groups in the Spanish-speaking market.
In the ticketing and activities segment, however, Ávoris faced a structural limitation. Each brand within the group sourced activities independently through third-party portals. This decentralized approach resulted in fragmented product information, multiple billing flows depending on the supplier, complex reconciliation processes, and limited visibility over activity supply at group level.
Recognizing the need for greater efficiency and control, Ávoris defined a clear strategic objective: to centralize the contracting and management of tours and activities within a single internal unit that could serve all group brands consistently.
This vision led to the creation of Welcome Tickets, an internally developed platform designed to become the unified purchasing and management hub for activities across all Ávoris brands.
While Welcome Tickets was built in-house and fully aligned with Ávoris’ operational and strategic requirements, it launched with two inherent challenges. On the one hand, the platform needed immediate access to relevant supply. On the other, managing connectivity and integrations at scale represented a significant technical burden.
The Solution
Ávoris partnered with Globick to complement its internal capabilities with specialized connectivity expertise, supporting the launch and progressive evolution of Welcome Tickets.
From the outset, Welcome Tickets was designed in close alignment with Globick’s API, ensuring scalable and efficient connectivity while remaining fully tailored to Ávoris’ internal processes, governance, and roadmap. Within this framework, Globick supported Ávoris by facilitating access to supply, managing integrations, and enabling a gradual transition toward direct contracting while Ávoris retained full ownership of platform strategy, commercial decisions, and supplier relationships.
In the initial phase, connections with aggregators were activated to ensure immediate availability of product and operational continuity, allowing Welcome Tickets to go live across the group’s brands. This approach provided time for Ávoris to build internal contracting capacity while operating at scale from day one.
As the platform matured, Ávoris progressively shifted toward direct contracting with operators, with a clear objective: reduce dependency on aggregators and improve margins. Through Globick, Ávoris enabled direct connections with key partners while maintaining a consistent technical framework across all suppliers.
Beyond connectivity, Globick also supported Ávoris in identifying relevant operators, particularly in Spanish-speaking markets, where discovering suitable supply can be complex. This assistance helped accelerate catalogue development while keeping commercial ownership firmly within Ávoris.
Throughout the collaboration, Globick acted as a specialized technology partner, adding connectivity capacity without replacing internal teams. This allowed Ávoris’ technical and commercial resources to remain focused on platform evolution, brand enablement, and strategic growth initiatives.
Results
The collaboration enabled Ávoris to successfully launch and scale Welcome Tickets as a centralized activities platform serving all brands within the group.
By consolidating contracting and connectivity, Ávoris significantly reduced operational fragmentation, simplified billing and reconciliation processes, and gained full visibility over its activities supply. The phased transition from aggregator-based sourcing to direct operator contracts created a clear path toward margin optimization while ensuring business continuity.
At the same time, direct connectivity strengthened supplier relationships and improved control over product conditions, while the platform’s centralized model made it easier to scale activity sales across brands and markets, particularly in Spanish-speaking destinations.
Today, Welcome Tickets operates as the single gateway for tours and activities across the Ávoris ecosystem, with a robust, scalable connectivity foundation that supports continued growth and strategic autonomy.
Conclusion
With Globick as a technology partner, Ávoris transformed a fragmented and decentralized ticketing model into a centralized, scalable, and margin-oriented activities platform, strengthening operational control while preserving full ownership of commercial strategy.
One platform. Centralized supply. Direct contracting. Better margins. Scalable growth.
